A man suffered a graze wound to his head this morning after being shot on the Southwest Side, police said.
About 2:50 a.m., the 26-year-old man suffered the injury as he was getting into a car in the 6600 block of South Oakley Avenue in the West Englewood neighborhood, according to a release from police News Affairs.
The man fled the shooting and drove himself to a hospital, police said. He was listed in good condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, the release said.
No one was in custody and Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
