A man was shot and wounded in the neck during a drive-by shooting late Friday night in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said.
At 10:54 p.m., a 20-year-old man was in the 3800 block of West Pippin Street when a car drove by and someone inside the vehicle fired at him, striking him in the neck, police said.
The car is described as a gray 2006-07 Pontiac Grand Prix, police said.
The man had non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
Police believe the shooting was gang-related.
No one was in custody early this morning and Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
