At least three people were wounded this afternoon and evening in separate shootings on the city's South Side, officials saidThe latest shooting happened about 8:35 p.m. on the 6400 block of South Racine Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood, police said.
Preliminary reports said an 18-year-old man was shot in the arm. There was no information available about his condition or where he was taken for treatment.

Earlier this afternoon, a 28-year-old man was shot in the hand on the 6200 block of South Paulina Street, police said.
Preliminary reports said the man was walking on the street about 1:15 p.m. when someone approached and shot him. The man was taken in good condition to Holy Cross Hospital, police said.

Shortly after 5 p.m., a 21-year old man was shot in his buttocks on the 2400 block of West 35th Street, police said.
That man was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital.
As of 9:30 p.m., no one was in custody for any of the shootings. Wentworth Area detectives were investigating.
