A 15-year-old girl was shot in the neck and seriously wounded late Thursday, one of at least seven victims of overnight shootings.
The girl was shot about 9:05 p.m. in the Hermosa neighborhood on the West Side. She was walking on the 4100 block of West Wabansia Avenue when she heard shots and felt pain, according to police.
She was shot in the neck and taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital.

At least six others also were wounded across the city.
At 10:15 p.m. in the Trumbull Park neighborhood, a male in his teens was shot in his leg at 10524 S. Oglesby Ave., according to police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
He was taken in good condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Later at 11:38 p.m. and only a couple of blocks away in the South Deering neighborhood, two males were shot near the intersection of East 103rd Street and South Calhoun Avenue, said Officer Ron Gaines.
One person was shot in his abdomen and transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center while the other was shot in his leg and taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital. Their ages were not immediately known.
It was not immediately known if the two shootings were related.

At 3:38 a.m., two women and a man were wounded in a possible drive-by in the 9700 block of South Luella, according to Gaines.
The two women were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and listed in stable condition. The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, also in stable condition. detectives are investigating.
