44 year old man shot on Halsted St.
44-year-old man was wounded this morning in a shooting in the city's Englewood neighborhood on the South Side. About 12:12 a.m., officers and paramedics responded to the 5700 block of South Halsted Street and discovered a man with gunshot wounds to his abdomen and wrist.
The man was standing on the sidewalk when he heard shots and realized he had been shot. The man was taken in fair condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
