Man shot in Austin neighborhood

In the city's Austin neighborhood, a 28 year-old man was was shot in the face in the 500 block of North Lavergne Street before 3 a.m.
Two men approached the car he was in and began firing, hitting him in the face. He tried to drive to the hospital but hit another car on the way there.
A passenger in the car he hit then began firing at him, Mirabelli said. The second shooter did not strike the victim.
