Man found beaten to death in Northwest Side home

A man who appeared to have been beaten to death was discovered inside a Northwest Side home.
The man, 57, The man -- identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office as 56-year-old Mike Justo was found unresponsive with massive head trauma just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in a basement of the home in the 5300 block of North Northwest Highway.
The home sits in the normally-quiet Gladstone Park neighborhood in a community that hasn't had a homicide since 2008.
