Gunman with T-shirt over face kills teen on Southwest Side porch

A 17-year-old boy was shot to death on a front porch in the Marquette Park neighborhood late this morning.
The teen was sitting on a front porch in the 7200 block of South Artesian Avenue about 11:25 a.m. when a male attacker with a T-shirt wrapped around his face came up to the home on foot and fired several shots, hitting the boy.
The victim was dead on the scene, and the attacker fled north on foot.
