Man, woman shot on South Side

A man and a woman were seriously injured when they were shot on a porch in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side this evening.
The two were both taken from the 7900 block of South Hermitage Avenue for treatment to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious-to-critical condition, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
The woman, 53, and man, 33, were sitting on the porch when shots rang out and they realized they had been shot. The woman was shot in the hand and shoulder.
