Man, 20, fatally shot on Southwest Side (Hey, that's my Beat!)

A 20-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon in the Wrightwood neighborhood on the city's Southwest Side, authorities said.
Killed was Philon Watson, of the 7300 block of South Francisco Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Police said an unknown gunman shot Watson at about 3:37 p.m. in the 3100 block of West 84th Place. Watson, who was struck in the chest and back, was rushed to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was later pronounced dead.
