Girl, 17, shot in back on South Side
A 17-year-old girl was shot and critically injured this morning in the West Chesterfield neighborhood on the city's South Side, police said.
The girl, shot twice in the back, was discovered behind the McDade Classical School in the 8800 block of South Indiana Avenue around 12:30 a.m.
The girl was taken to an area hospital in serious-to-critical condition.
