Three men were shot this morning in a shooting on the city's West Side, police said.
The shooting happened at about 12:40 a.m. in the 3500 block of West Walnut Street in the East Garfield Park neighborhood, authorities said.
A gunman opened fire on three men in their 30s, police said. One man was hit in the back, another in the arm and the third in the leg, said Officer Ronald Gaines, a police spokesman.
Two of the victims were taken to Sacred Heart Hospital, while the third victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, Gaines said. The victims' conditions ranged from good to "stable."
