Israel D. Johnson, 23, has been charged with misdemeanor battery.
Moore, of the 7500 block of North Seeley Avenue, and Johnson, of the 7200 block of S. Rhodes, are alleged to have attacked a 24-year-old man who was walking when two people approached him from behind and began to fight with him.

Free Demetrius Moore! Let him out of jail he shouldn’t be doing time, he is innocent! Especially when someone has been messing with him for months before he got arrested. He don’t deserve to be in jail. This guy he stabbed has been coming after him every single time he saw him. Demetrius was unaware of knowing the guy was at the same places he was at the times he was being attack. It’s not far that Demetrius is doing time for something he doesn’t deserve. I love you Demetrius and I pray to god that god will let you out soon. I know it’s hard. Don’t stress, you’ll be out. And your family is thinking about you and praying for you.
