Four people were wounded in two separate shootings this afternoon on the West and South sides, officials said.
Three people suffered minor wounds when someone fired a shotgun in the West Side's East Garfield Park neighborhood, striking them with pellets, said police.
That shooting happened a little before 1 p.m. on the 700 block of North Trumbull Avenue. There was no information available on the ages or exact conditions of the wounded people, but police described the victims as two males and a female.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the arm this afternoon in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
The man was driven by a friend to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition has been stabilized, police said.
That shooting happened about 3:20 p.m. on the 6000 block of South Prairie Avenue.
As of 6 p.m., no one was in custody for either shooting. Harrison Area and Wentworth Area detectives were investigating
