Wilfredo Elias, 29, was sentenced to 41 years in prison after pleading guilty to predatory criminal sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual assault and sexual assault
The attacks took place multiple times in 2011 when Elias was babysitting the children, who were 2 and 3 years old at the time.
Elias had video recorded several of the sexual assaults and stored the images on a storage device, prosecutors said, and police were called when the images were discovered by a family member.
After Cook County authorities obtained an arrest warrant Elias was taken into custody last September in Missouri while traveling with a carnival. He was extradited and has been held in Chicago without bail.
Under Illinois law, Elias will be required to serve 85 percent of the total 41 year sentence.
