An investigation this week into drug sales in the Chatham neighborhood resulted in two South Side men charged with possessing more than a kilogram of heroin.
After getting information about possible drug sales in the area of the 400 block of East 80th Street, Chicago police began surveillance there Tuesday. Officers saw Albert Askew, 61, who lives on that block, "take possession of a package" containing about 1,000 grams of suspected heroin.
Police watched Askew take the package a couple of blocks away to the 7800 block of South Calumet Avenue, where he met up with Jeffery Watson, 44, of the 200 block of East 32nd Street, and helped put it into a black pickup truck Watson was driving.
A short time later both men were arrested, and police said they confiscated the truck, more than $1,500 in cash and more than 1,000 grams of heroin, worth more than $100,000.
Each man was charged with felony possession of heroin -- more than 900 grams

These men are parasites who live off the destruction of thier communities. Amazing, some one, so old can sell that poison. They murder people slowly. The people who let them sell that shit in thier hoods are guilty as well. Sad, it took the police to stop them. No real men in thier hoods.
