Police release photos of suspect in sexual assault

Police have released photos of a man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman in the Edgewater neighborhood on the North Side.
The assault happened about 5:40 a.m. on Oct. 26 in an alley on the 5600 block of North Kenmore Avenue.
The woman was walking in the alley when a man approached her and struck her numerous times in the head. The man robbed her and tried to sexually assault her.
The man was described as black, between the ages of 18 to 25, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 175 pounds.
The man has a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a white jacket with a red stripe on each shoulder.
