The most recent homicide happened about 11 p.m. A 68-year-old man was shot
and killed during a home invasion at his South Side residence Sunday night.
At least one gunman broke into the home in the 9400 block of South LaSalle
Street and shot the man in his torso. Police responded there for a call of a
person shot and found the man unresponsive.
Police said the victim, whose identity wasn't readily available, recently put
up a fence outside his home because he was fed up with drug dealers in the
neighborhood selling dope on or near his property. Police are looking into
whether one of them was involved in his death.

If i had controll over the law each person thats responsible for takin another human life shuld get the death penalty i think that would stop a person so quick from takin another person life .
I hope they find the low life skum bukket who did this so sad whem an elderly get killed bcuse of a plottin ass gangbanger wit nothing else better to do then rob and steal
