Man stabbed to death, girlfriend held

A 42-year-old man was stabbed to death by his girlfriend late Wednesday.
Brian Hawkins, of the 2500 block of East 77th Street,was stabbed in the stomach during a fight with his 42-year-old girlfriend in an apartment in the 600 block of West Patterson Ave. in the Lake View neighborhood,. The incident happened about 10:15 p.m.
The girlfriend is in custody, but no charges have been filed yet
