Autopsy: Woman found unresponsive in Lawndale was strangled

An autopsy Tuesday determined a 25-year-old woman found in the Lawndale neighborhood was strangled.
A woman identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office as Pamela Valenzuela was found unresponsive about 7 a.m. Monday in the 1900 block of South Harding Avenue.
An autopsy Tuesday determined Valenzuela, 25, of the 4100 block of West Cullerton Street, died of strangulation and her death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.
