Man shot in Belmont Central neighborhood

Another man sustained two gun shot wounds to his chest at about 4:20 a.m. in the 2200 block Mango Avenue in the Belmont Central neighborhood.
A dark vehicle approached the man while he was standing on the street and someone inside opened fire. Police are still investigating and believe that shooting may be gang related.
UPATE: DOA Dead was Xavier Silva, 20, of the 3200 block of North Natchez Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Friends of Silva's told police they had been at a party in the neighborhood and after leaving the party, went in opposite directions on Mango, according to police.
Witnesses told police they saw a small, four-door, black sedan headed south on Mango before the shooting. Preliminary reports said the vehicle approached the victim as he was on the street and someone opended fire striking him twice in the  chest
