Woman shot in the back in the Back of the Yards neighborhood

A woman was shot in the back about 12:11 a.m. today in the 800 block of West 51st Street in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side. She was taken in serious condition to Stroger hospital. The victim's age was not available.
