Addison man found shot dead in West Town neighborhood

A 29-year-old Addison man was discovered fatally shot inside a vehicle in the city's West Town neighborhood.
Officers were called to the area of Erie Street and Ashland Avenue at about 2 a.m. for a call of shots fired, said police, citing preliminary reports.
Police found a man, later identified as Curtis Canino, of the 400 block of Stevens Drive in Addison, inside a parked vehicle in the 600 block of North Ashland, with a gunshot wound to the head.
