26-year-old man shot dead in Brighton Park nieghborhood

A 26-year-old man who ran about a block from the alley in the Brighton Park neighborhood where he was shot this morning and collapsed on a corner has died.
The man was in an alley in the 2600 block of West Montgomery Avenue about 8 a.m. when he was shot in the face and chest.
Witnesses said they saw a car speeding from the area after the shooting.
