A 16-year-old boy was shot and seriously wounded while standing on his front porch late this morning in the Roseland neighborhood on the South Side, authorities said.
The victim was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious-to-critical condition from just east of State Streeton 113th Place

The boy was standing on his front porch when he heard shots and realized he had been shot in the leg, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety. He was hospitalized in serious but stable condition, Baety said
