A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed tonight at a park in the city's Rogers Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.
The victim was shot in the head at about 7:45 p.m. as he stood beside a bench in Touhy Park in the 7300 block of North Clark Street, police said.
The unidentified teen was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was pronounced dead, police spokeswoman Officer Anne Dwyer said.
Police had few additional details immediately on the shooting and had not yet made any arrest in the case.
