Cops: Woman dies after jumping from high-rise

A woman died after jumping from a Lakeview high-rise this morning, police said.
Officers were sent to a high-rise apartment building in the 2900 block of North Sheridan Road at 7:04 a.m. after a security guard at the building called 911 to say a woman was threatening to jump, police said.
The woman jumped, fell onto a canopy at the building and was dead on the scene, according to police
