April saw five robberies of patrons at businesses along a three-block stretch of South Kedzie Avenue in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood.
In all the attacks, from one to three robbers approached a victim and took property by force or threat of force, according to the alert
The robberies took place:
On April 13 at about 7:15 p.m. on the 6300 block of South Kedzie Avenue.
On April 21 at about 4:20 a.m. on the 6100 block of South Kedzie Avenue.
On April 22 at about 11 a.m. on the 6000 block of South Kedzie Avenue.
On April 26 at about 3:08 p.m. again on the 6300 block of South Kedzie Avenue.
On April 28 at about 1:15 p.m. again on the 6000 block of South Kedzie Avenue.
Police did not release the names or exact locations of the businesses where the patrons were robbed, and said only there were "varying descriptions" of the one to three male black robbers involved in the attacks
