A 19-year-old man died after he was found shot in a car this morning in the
Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.
A
Wentworth District police officer heard shots fired in an alley in the 5700
block of South Prairie Avenue about 9:40 a.m. and found the man.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:30
a.m.
Tre Henry, of the 6200 block of South Drexel Avenue, was pronounced dead at John
H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County at 10:30 a.m.

Here's what can be done: Take personal responsibility for your reproductive behavior, and make certain there is an identifiable father present when a child is born. Teachers, social workers and law enforcement authorities are very poor substitutes for dads . . .

There is many who are not racist but to honestly say anything about the failure of Black communities Will bring that accusation first and loud. The key is to cooperate with their neighbors and end the dismal conditions are all too common. I have lived in Chicago. My opinion is that many parts of the city should be leveled and turned into parks, baseball diamonds basketball courts and other sport venues. The businesses stay away because they are large and unprotected targets in a dangerous environment. Chicago Gun control laws have ensured that the criminals are the only ones with guns until police arrive. That is usually many minutes later when a few seconds is the difference between life and death.
It starts with an education, getting off the government dole and making a life for yourself.
