Police say a teen pointed a gun at officers near 82nd Street and Drexel
Avenue around midnight after they responded to a call of a robbery.
The officers had just questioned someone on the street when the person came
running back saying he had been robbed.
The person pointed out the 16-year-old as the robber, and one of the officers
ran after him while the other officer gave chase in the squad car, according to
Pat Camden, a spokesman for the Fraternal Order of Police.
The foot chase went into a gangway and the 16-year-old fired at the officer
and missed.
The suspect kept running and again pointed his gun at police while trying to
hop a fence and an officer returned fire, hitting the teen in the head.
He was taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, Camden said. A gun
was recovered at the scene

If i had controll over the law ..i would assign like 20 army plp to each bad block in chicago to look for guns .most gangbangers like to hide there guns outside for example in bushes aroun there houses an in trapp houses ..slang for a place were drugdealers liked to hide there money and drugs .those are good places to find guns ..the more guns off the street less killings and now days u dnt even hve to hve alot of money to own a gun cuse most gangmembers just share them i hope all the violence stop am sick and tired of hearin bout all these killings and shootins##
