Police issue warning after man tries to lure 2 kids in McKinley Park

Chicago police issued a community alert after a man attempted to lure two children into his vehicle in the McKinley Park neighborhood Sunday morning.
The incident happened at about 10:29 a.m. at the intersection of 37th Street and South Paulina Street.
A 7-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy were approached by a man who offered the children candy and tried to lure them into his vehicle. The two ran home where they told a relative who called police.
The man is described as white, between 20 and 30 years of age, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and driving a blue 4-door car. He is also described as having a tear drop tattoo under his left eye.
