Police release photos of suspects in Metra station robbery

Two men with handguns robbed a group of people waiting in a South Side Metra station last week, and police today released surveillance photos of the suspects.
At 1:38 p.m. on Jan. 19 the two robbers entered the Metra train station on the 800 block of East 95th Street, displayed handguns, ordered everyone onto the floor and demanded their money and valuables.
The photos released by police show the robbers and the victims, with the afternoon sunlight streaming through the windows.
Police provide the same general description for both suspects: black men, 18-25, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, and 155-165 pounds.
One suspect was wearing a black puffy winter vest, light brown sweat shirt and a light brown baseball cap, while the other was wearing beige pants and a black hooded sweat jacket, police said.
