Man shot, wounded near Rogers Park Red Line station

A man was shot and seriously wounded near a CTA train station on the city's Far North Side.

Early reports started that the victim, whose age was unavailable, was shot in the back in the 7500 block of North Paulina Street at about 3:28 a.m.
The victim then staggered to the Red Line's Howard station
He was taken to nearby St. Francis Hospital in Evanston in serious condition.
Police were searching for as many as six suspects, some with facial tattoos.
