Man critical after apparent domestic stabbing

A 32-year-old man was critically wounded this morning in a stabbing on the city's South Side in the Gresham neighborhood.
Chicago Fire Department paramedics responded shortly before 8 a.m. to the 7900 block of South Carpenter Street, said spokesman Rich Rosado. A man was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
Preliminary reports said the incident was domestic-related.
Police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan said a man was stabbed in his leg at the location and was listed as in critical condition.
