Man, 19, fatally shot in Brainerd neighborhood

A 19-year-old man was shot and killed in the Brainerd neighborhood on the city's Southwest Side.
Killed was Kurtis Stanton, of the the 6600 block of South Langley Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Stanton was walking in the 1500 block of West 94th Street at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday when a gunman approached from behind and shot the man in the head
He was dead at the scene
