In the McKinley Park neighborhood, a 28-year-old man was shot muliple times in a suspected drive-by shooting.
That shooting happened on the 1800 block of West Pershing Road. A witness heard shots, went outside to investigate and found the man lying on the ground with multiple wounds.
The witness called for help and attempted to stop the victim's bleeding until paramedics arrived. The victim was taken in serious-to-critical condition toJohn H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where his condition has stabilize.
A car was seen fleeing, but there was no description immediately available
