Chicago Police are looking for one or more men who have assaulted women seven times on the city’s West Side since late August.
The man approaches the victims on foot while they're walking, parking their cars or entering their homes and demand purses, money, jewelry and cell phones, according to the alert.
The women have been sexually assaulted during the robberies, which have occurred between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. , between Aug. 28 and Oct. 2., police said.
Police are looking for a black man, between 5-foot-5 and 6-feet, between 130 and 170 pounds, wearing a black skull cap or ski mask, a black jacket or sweater, and black jeans. There may be a second offender.
The incidents have occurred in the 1100 block of North Lawndale Avenue, the 800 block of North Harding Avenue, the 4700 block of West Maypole Avenue, the 2200 and 3800 blocks of West Monroe Street, the 5500 block of West West End Street, and the 900 block of North Leamington Avenue, according to police.
