Mayor Emanuel: White powder at Daley Center was drywall dust



Suspicious white powder that brought police and firefighters to the Daley Center turned out to be drywall dust, Mayor Emanuel said at a City Hall new conference.
The office was "quarantined" while a hazardous materials crew investigated, Mayor Emanuel said.

The situation was declared under control by about 10:35 a.m., Mayor Emanuel said.
