Police said they executed a search warrant at the residence in the 700 block of North Laramie Avenue in the Austin neighborhood about 12:30 a.m. and arrested Claude Washington, 32, there.
Officers found large black garbage bags with approximately 35 pounds of vacuum-sealed packages of cannabis, police said, as well as several weapons.
Washington was charged with the felony manufacture and delivery of more than 5,000 grams of cannabis, illegal firearms possession by a felon and misdemeanor drug and weapons charges.
