5 year old girl, struck by vehicle, seriously injured in Chatham

A 5-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured in the city's Chatham neighborhood.
Chicago Fire Department paramedics were called shortly after 8 p.m. to the 8100 block of South Evans Avenue for a girl who had been struck by a vehicle.
 The girl was taken in serious-to-critical condition to Comer Children's Hospital.
