Man charged with shooting at Humboldt Park building

Cook County judge ordered a man held Sunday in lieu of $500,000 bail for shooting at a Humboldt Park home.
Police saw Celester Edwards, 38, of the 4000 block of West Potomac Avenue, firing a gun at the home in the 700 block of North Springfield Avenue on Saturday night.
The officers were in the neighborhood to investigate the shooting of a 13-year-old boy, who lives at the same address.
The boy was sitting on the front porch earlier on Saturday when he was struck in the arm by a bullet.
Edwards appeared in bond court Sunday charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm at an occupied building, use and possession of a firearm by a felon and armed habitual criminal behavior, all felonies.
