6 seriously injured in West Side accident

Three children and three adults were seriously injured this afternoon in a vehicle accident on the West Side that was spurred by a domestic situation.
Shortly after 12 p.m., two males in separate vehicles were having a domestic dispute and crashed into several vehicles on the 1600 block of North Central Avenue.
One of the males got out of his vehicle, pulled out a gun and fired shots.
Officers near the scene saw part of the incident and took both males into custody,
No one was injured by gunfire, but 6 people were injured during the traffic collisions.
Six ambulances were sent to the scene and all three adults and three children were listed in serious-to-critical condition.
