Man shot dead on South Side

A man was fatally wounded this afternoon in a shooting on the South Side in the city's Gresham neighborhood.
About 3:30 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in his face on the 7700 block of South Carpenter Street. He was pronounced dead on the scene
