Autopsy results today revealed that a woman whose badly decomposed body was
found near railroad tracks on the South Side this week died from strangulation.
Her body was found Thursday morning on an embankment along railroad
tracks near 78th Street and Lowe Avenue in the Gresham neighborhood.
The unknown woman appeared to be in her 30s.
An autopsy revealed today she died of
strangulation and her death was ruled a homicide
