Man critically wounded in Park Manor shooting

A 21-year-old man was critically wounded tonight in a shooting on the South Side in the city's Park Manor neighborhood.
The shooting happened about 7:22 p.m. on the 6700 block of South Langley Avenue.
Preliminary reports said the man was standing outside when a van pulled up and someone sitting in the rear of the vehicle opened fire.
The man, who suffered a gunshot wound to his leg, was taken by someone at the scene to the University of Chicago Hospitals where he was listed in critical condition
