4-year-old injured after falling out window on South Side

A 4-year-old boy fell out of a second-story window and was injured on the South Side this afternoon.
The boy apparently pushed out a screen from the window at a home in the 3700 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue about 2:50 p.m..
The boy was taken to Lurie Children's Hospital with trauma injuries, according to the Chicago Fire Department. He was awake and alert when he first was being treated, and his condition was stabilized
