15-year-old boy shot in Woodlawn

Wednesday night, a 15-year-old boy was shot in the ankle in the 6100 block of South Vernon Avenue in the West Woodlawn neighborhood. He was shot about 7:10 p.m. and taken to St. Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center. It's not clear how the boy was shot.
