1 shot in Garfield Park

A man taking out his garbage was the victim of an attempt robbery by two people who approached him demanding money at about 3 p.m. in the 4700 block of West Congress Parkway in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. He was shot in the left arm during the attack and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
