Chicago police were questioning several males this morning following a
shooting during a home invasion on the city's South Side.
Authorities said four or five males, all armed, forced entry into a home in
the 1400 block of East 73rd St. in the Grand Crossing neighborhood at about 9:45
p.m.
While inside, one of the intruders was shot, though it was unclear exactly
how. He was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr.
Hospital of Cook County in critical condition.
The homeowner wasn't injured
