Man charged with shooting boy, 14, in Englewood

A 19-year-old man was charged with trying to kill a 14-year-old boy in Englewood on Thursday night.
Lashawn Bilbro, of the 7300 block of South Sangamon, is expected in court today to face attempted first degree murder and aggravated battery charges.
Bilbro shot the 14-year-old about 11 p.m. Thursday in the 6700 block of South Carpenter Street.
The boy sustained two wounds and was treated and released from Comer Children’s Hospital
